I first got the idea of creating a website when i first tryed FrontPage in Microsoft Office 98. (I still use FrontPage 2000 to design my main website, but it isn’t finished yet so I wont post the link to it.) I designed a very simple website; just a few YouTube videos, pictures and maybe some games. I looked for free hosting and found 741.com, but at that time I didnt understand how a website worked, so I didnt upload the pictures of my computer. So when I came to try the website nothing worked as the whole site was made up of pictures. So for a while I gave up on designing a website from scratch and started with officelive.com which I used for about half a year, but i didnt like the interface, you didnt have much control over the design. After that I gave up with the idea of a website for a bit. Then I went to webs.com, very nice site, but like officelive.com, you didnt have enough control over the design. I then designed a very simple blog in FrontPage witch was just a logo with a table, so to be honest, it was rubbish. I tryed to install wordpress.org onto a ftp server but my computer kept crashing, so I desided just to use wordpress.com insted which is how the website is now.
